Here are my some Christmas Patterns, I do love to find new ways to use up every bit of fabric scraps that I have! The Bali Snippets pattern has full-sized templates for 2 sizes of owls, 2 sizes of gingerbread men, 2 sizes of hearts, 3 sizes of stars, a snowman and a bird. Make these ornaments with those little snippets of left over fabrics, or use fabrics that you purchase to make enough in the exact colour you want for your tree.
These cute ornaments make great gifts for anyone, and just think of the fun craft day you could have with your friends!
The Bali Christmas Balls also use left over strips of fabric along with Styrofoam balls, another way to personalize your tree. Then there is Bali Ornaments, they also use leftover pieces of fabric and can be made on Styrofoam forms, or old ornaments that you do not like. You can use forms from craft stores, or cheap ornaments from the dollar stores.
Hope you have lots of fun crafting with your friends and family this season. If you start now you will have ornaments made for all your family and friends by Christmas!
The patterns are available in my etsy store at: https://www.etsy.com/listing/170523623/bali-snippets-pattern-bycool-cat?ref=pr_shop

Halloween Fun with Charm Squares, Quilted Slippers
Are you like me?? I LOVE Halloween fabrics, but what to do with them? Well, here is an idea, Snappy Slippers & Travel Case! These slippers and the travel bag that they fit into are made using 1 package of charm squares ( 40 - 5" squares) and 1 yard of co-ordinating fabric for the linings in the bag and the slippers.
I use a product that I had not used before, although, I very much like it and am now working on a new bag pattern using it. The product is ByAnnie's Soft and Stable, it is a covered foam product, and makes the slippers nice and cozy.
The slipper pattern can be purchased in my etsy shop https://www.etsy.com/shop/coolcatsandquilts?ref=pr_shop_more . Store owners can contact me for wholesale prices and check out my website at

I would love to see pictures of any slippers that you make, always fun to see.

Snappy Slippers made from Kate Spain's charm pack "In from the Cold" for Moda
If you are looking for new ideas for Christmas gifts this year why not make my Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag in Christmas fabrics. Here are some pictures of a pair that I made using Kate Spain's In from the Cold for Moda.
I love Kate Spain's fabric designs, they are fantastic! I used one of the co-ordinating fabrics for the lining in the slippers and the bag, a cute mitten design. Just imagine all the Christmas charm packs out there made into these cute slippers. The pattern is available in my etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/shop/coolcatsandquilts?ref=pr_shop_more
If you are near a quilt shop, ask them if they are carrying the pattern, if not they can contact me for wholesale information and they could visit my website for wholesale information:

More Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag Photos
I thought you might like to see more pictures of the Snappy Slippers. I have done several workshops on them, and I am getting ready to go to http://www.cottoncupboardquilt.com/ (The Cotton Cupboard Quilt Shop) in Bangor, Maine to teach a workshop on the slippers and bag. I am teaching 2 workshops, one on The Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag, and the other is Turtle Cay. The classes are on August 30, and 31, for more information click the above link.
I do love teaching classes, so fun to see how different the same pattern looks in different colour ways. I can't wait to see all the different Charm Packs, or Bali Snaps will be at this workshop. My next pattern will be Men's slippers, and then children's. I have so many patterns in my head, just not enough time to get them out and on paper! Here is the link to my etsy shop, where you can buy the Snappy Slipper pattern https://www.etsy.com/listing/158945179/snappy-slippers-travel-case-make-using-1?ref=pr_shop

Cool Cat Creations new pattern, Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag
I am pleased to announce my new pattern, Snappy Slippers & Travel Bag. These slippers and the bag are made using 1 package of Bali Snaps, or Charm Squares - that is 40 5" squares. The pattern has full sized templates for woman's sipper sizes 5 - 11. The bag has a top zipper and the slippers fit nicely inside, what a great gift! Time to start making those Christmas gifts! The slippers have removable insoles. I have used by Annie's Soft and Stable for the bag, slippers and insoles, and a slipper gripper for the bottom, I do not want you to slip and fall! You can find the slippers in my etsy shop: https://www.etsy.com/listing/158945179/snappy-slippers-travel-case-make-using-1?ref=pr_shop

Caribbean Cruise With Hoffman California Fabrics and Cool Cat Creations
Come on a Caribbean Cruise with me and work on great projects with Hoffman California Fabrics. I will be teaching 4 differenct projects all using the Hoffman fabrics. This first project that I am showing you is The Bahama Mama Beach Bag. It is a large bag with lots of inside pockets, even one for your cellphone, and a key fob so you don't loose your keys. It is a great size for taking all your needs to the beach, or use it to go shopping. I will be posting lots of information on the projects, and all the information on the cruise in the very near future, so stay tuned in! Don't worry, all projects will be available as kits.
